Introductions
Art. One word. Yet so much meaning. One face or symbol, so to speak, is the well known professional Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. Ring a bell? Famous, paints very professionally, (obviously..), and is the co-creator to the technique known as Cubism, and he became one of the worlds greatest skilled and influential artists ever. I give his truckloads of credit for his ungoing confidence, determination, and unconditional dedication. Oh, and lets not forget that imagination he withheld. His full name consists of 23 words-Pablo Diego Jose Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Maria de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso.
Pablo Picasso Himself!!
Pablo Picasso not only made mere little art gallery worthy paintings but created perfect pieces that literally spoke a thousand words and lasted throughout the ages of our cold hearted world full of critics who would just explode to be able to downgrade such magnificent pieces. Yet Picasso accomplished more than he set forth to do, he CHANGED the way art was viewed in more than one pair of eyes, he reformed it for the whole world, making them see clearer and letting them believe they were actually seeing art itself for the first time. They all knew they werent but his masterpieces didnt have to speak for people to realize Pablo Picasso did more than paint and create, he truly revolutoinized and awed the world with his abilities.
Introductions (cont.)
Pablo Picasso was not only an artist and painter, but he was a sculptor, ceramicist, stage designer, printmaker, draughtsman, and also had some other "day jobs." He became one of the most influential painters/Spanish atrists of the 20th century because he believed it takes 4 year to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child. His creations were not only inspirational because of the explicit amount of artisitic talent shown throughout, but because he painted as he thought not saw, in other words he tried and succeeded at closing his eyes and imagining a whole new world of ideas, that can only be seen through the right pair of eyes. Picasso was once told by his mother that if you are a soldier, you will become a general. If you are a monk, you will become a pope. So he replied with great thought.."Well, I was a painter, and became a Picasso."
